Description

Please see attached the Justification For Use Of Other Than Full And Open Competition For A FAR Part 13 Acquisition Under The Simplified Acquisition Threshold (J&A) for further details. Marine Corps Base located at Quantico, VA hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Comcast of Virginia, LLC 617A Pickett St. Alexandria, VA, 22304-4619 under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), "Only one Responsible Source". This requirement is for expanded basic cable service for leased facilities located at 30 Tech Parkway, 51 Barrett Heights, 475 Aquia Towne Center and 105 Tech Parkway; all locations are in Stafford,VA. A formal solicitation was not developed but the informal Request for Quote (M00264-17-T-0098), will be provided upon request. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Interested firms may submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement. All responsible sources may submit a response which if timely received, will be considered by the agency. Responses must be received at the Contracting Office no later than 12:00 PM ET, 24 May 2017, via facsimile or email. POC is Grace M.
