- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Falls Church, VA intends to award a sole source Blanket Purchase Agreement under authority of FAR 6.302-1, Other than Full and Open Competition procedures and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition procedures to Everglades Outpost Corporation, Homestead, Florida. This requirement is for housing and caring of live insects, reptiles, and mammals to include venomous and dangerous animals seized from Port of Miami entry and in custody of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Work includes general care, cleaning, feeding, watering, veterinary care services and rehabilitation. Everglades Outpost Corporation is familiar with caring for a wide range of species and subspecies with significant caging requirements for venomous and dangerous wildlife and is currently housing government wildlife. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 812910. The size standard is $7.50. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however firms with expressed interest and capability are encouraged to respond by 05/25/2017. This notice is for informational purposes only. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
