- The National Park Service requests information from HUBZone, WOSB, or SDVOSB vendors registered as small businesses under NAICS 238290 Other Building Equipment Contractors, with a size standard of $15M. Vendors interested in submitting a proposal for this requirement should send a Statement of Qualifications to the Contracting Officer, Ms. Terri Dyke, at terri_dyke@nps.gov, NLT 8:00 am ET on 25 May 2017. This project addresses serious deficiencies related to the Architectural Barriers Act of 1968 and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 that impact the visiting public and employees. Funding would provide contract labor, equipment, and materials to: install automatic door openers on four existing doors at the existing visitor center vestibule/entrance and two restrooms; modify the sidewalk to accommodate the installation of a push button opener on a pedestal set a safe distance from the building; install push button openers inside the visitor center to open the main exit doors and restroom doors. The magnitude of construction is between $100,000 to $250,000. Paper copies of this announcement will not be provided.
