- Notice to Offerors: Funds are not currently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. The NAICS for this project is 236220 and the small business size standard is $36.5M. This project is to repair and renovate North and South Hangar Doors and install gas infra-red heaters in the maintenance bay areas of Hangar 1, Building 6604 according to the 100% design and specification documents. The contractor is required to provide all labor, equipment, transportation, materials, quality control, and supervision necessary to fulfill the requirement at Barksdale AFB, Louisiana, in accordance with the 100% Drawings and Design Specifications. The Request for Proposal will be available on or about 06 June 2017. The Request for Proposal will close 30 Calendar days after RFP released. The Performance Period for this project is 270 calendar days after receiving the Notice to Proceed. The Notice to Proceed may be issued within 30 days after award of the solicitation. This acquisition is set-aside for Women Owned Small Businesses in accordance with FAR Part 19. The Request for Proposal will be available by electronic transmission only at www.fbo.gov. Potential contractors must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award; see webpage www.sam.gov. All proposals shall be valid for 180 calendar days after the Request for Proposal closing to be considered responsive. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00.
