- The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration, Veterans Benefits Administration, and National Cemetery Administration, as well as, staff offices, to include the Office of Information and Technology (OI&T) has a requirement for Enterprise Information Technology (IT) Research and Advisory subscription services to help VA accomplish its IT mission and initiatives by building a well-trained and informed workforce and improving assistance and guidance to programs and projects supported by IT across all of VA. IT Research and Advisory Services are required in the areas of Healthcare, IT, and Business Management to support health and welfare of Veterans. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) for this effort is 541511. This acquisition will be conducted on the basis of full and open competition. The resultant contract will be firm fixed priced and will include a 12-month base period, followed by four 12-month option period. Each period of performance includes optional tasks. A formal source selection process will be utilized and contract award will be based on the best overall (i.e., best value) proposal that is determined to be the most beneficial to the Government. The Government intends to release the Request for Proposals on or about May 23, 2017. Questions/responses shall be submitted to the contract specialist at Christopher.Minetti@va.gov.
