THE OFFER DUE DATE IS ON OR ABOUT JULY 10, 2107 (SEE SOLICITATION FOR ACTUAL OFFER DUE DATE). SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED IN ABOUT 2 WEEKS. THE SOLICITATION WILL EXPLAIN THAT THE DRAWINGS ARE INADEQUATE TO ENABLE COMPETITIVE BIDDING. THE PCU-R and PDCU-R IS RESTRICTED TO THE APPROVED SOURCE WHICH IS SECHAN ELECTRONICS OR AN AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTOR. ONLY THE APPROVED SOURCES AND/OR DISTRIBUTORS WILL BE CONSIDERED ON THIS BUY. Reverse Auction Provision: The solicitation will contain DLAD provision 52.215-9023, Reverse Auction, which allows for the use of a reverse auction as a pricing technique. After the solicitation closes, the contracting officer will determine if a reverse auction will be held. If a reverse auction is held, contractors must be registered in the reverse auction system prior to participating in the auction. Additionally, the contractor representative participating in the auction must have taken the on-line reverse auction training prior to the auction.
