- The solicitation for this project is expected to be issued approximately Mar 2017. The date and time will be identified in the solicitation. The contractor shall uninstall a set of 225 KVA Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) and a set of 500 KVA (UPS) and engineer, procure and install one set of 400 KVA Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) for the SATCOM Facility located in Building 103 at Fort Buckner Okinawa. The contractor shall provide all personnel, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, vehicle, supervision, labor and other items and services necessary to uninstall and install the UPS. The 78th Signal Battalion requires UPS to support SATCOM and network systems equipment to ensure power is maintained when commercial power is lost and generators assume the load. The UPS should be expandable to 500 KVA support future load increases.
