Description: BAA for Maturation of Critical Technologies for Space Battle Management Command and Control (BMC2) (22 MAY 2017) The Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) Space Superiority Systems Directorate (SY) hereby issues a BAA for the maturation of technologies to support Space BMC2. This effort focuses on technological advancement in five technical areas listed below for five (5) years starting in Fiscal Year 2017, not to exceed $49.9M over the five years. This is a two-step open BAA. The Government requests white papers in the following technical areas, with selected efforts receiving requests for proposal. Each award will be individually negotiated Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) or Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) contracts. The Five Focus Areas are as follows: (1) Support, Infrastructure and Networks; (2) Force Direction; (3) Operational Decision Making; (4) Space Situational Awareness; and (5) Battle Management.
