- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 7, Birmingham VA Medical Center (VAMC) intends to solicit a fixed price, indefinite-quantity contract for a base with four one (1) year option years to provide ambulance transportation services for the beneficiaries of the Birmingham VA Medical Center to include, Contract Nursing Homes (CNH), outlying Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC), and non-VA medical centers. A Request for Proposal (RFP) for this project is estimated to be released on or about June 1, 2017. Interested parties are encouraged to periodically re-visit the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website: www.fbo.gov for further information concerning this intended acquisition. The applicable North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this procurement is 621910 Ambulance Services and the Size Standard is $15 million.
