Question 4: With respect to the port specifications, are drives used to control the power demand and increase the efficiency? Answer 4: Yes, the port has frequency drives on cranes. Question 5: With respect to the port specifications, is regenerative braking used to capture the energy lost when they lower the containers? Answer 5: Yes, the port has frequency drives of four-quadrants, which send the regenerative energy back to the system, and this energy is used by other consumers within the same circuit. Question 6: In the task related to Project Infrastructure and Site Requirements (Task 4 of the Terms of Reference), regarding "Topography and Site Mapping," it is stated that the Contractor shall review any existing topography and site mapping, and that "if such analysis has not been prepared, or is incomplete, the Contractor shall perform such analysis and prepare such plan." Is it possible to confirm what topography and site mapping studies and documents are actually available? Also, in regards to geotechnical site assessment, can it be confirmed if previous studies exist, and if those will be available to the Contractor? Answer 6: Yes, the Grantee has a library with all the site mapping, and it will be made available to the Contractor. Also, yes, some previous geotechnical site assessments exist, and they will be made available to the Contractor.
