- This Solicitation is to announce the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Upper Midwest Environmental Science Center (UMESC) in La Crosse, WI has a requirement to remove CAT5 cabling and replace it with CAT6A cabling in accordance with included Statement of Work. Solicitation G17PS00490 is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The policies contained in FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for solicitation, evaluation and award prescribed in Part 15 and Part 36, as appropriate, shall be used for this acquisition. In accordance with FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects, the magnitude disclosure of the Government's estimate is less than $100,000. This is a 100% Small Business Set-aside. The associated NAICS code is 335921, Fiber Optic Cable. The small business size standard is 1,000 employees.
