- Title and Purpose of Event: Industry Day for Technical and Management Assistance (T&MA) Services. The purpose of this event is for the United States Department of Agriculture, Rural Development in Washington, DC to engage with NON-PROFIT organizations to provide a platform for open discussion and idea exchanges on an anticipated procurement. The T&MA objective is for non-profits to provide contract services for labor, management, supervision, quality control, materials, equipment, and local transportation necessary to provide training and technical assistance to public or private nonprofit corporation, agencies, institutions, organizations and other associations, including Indian tribes, eligible to receive assistance under the Section 523 Mutual Self-Help Technical Assistance (TA) Grant Program in accordance with 7 CFR Part 1944 Subpart 1. All costs associated with participating in the industry day will be solely at the participating organization's expenses. Target Audience: Non-profit organizations which support rural housing development in Region 3, Northeast and Midwestern states. Region 3 covers: CT, DE, IL, IA, IN, KY, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, VA, VT, WV, and WI. Date and Time: Friday, June 2, 2017 from 1:00 - 2:30 P.M. EST Location: Reporters Building, 300 7th Street, SW, 7th Floor Conference Room, Washington, DC, or via teleconference. Teleconference information will be provided to those organizations who register. Registration: Contact the Contracting Officer by sending an email to Dominique.Morant@wdc.usda.gov at least 24 hours prior to the event with the name(s) and title(s) of the participant(s). Early registration is encouraged. Security: All discussions will be unclassified. An agenda is attached.
