Page 1 of 1 Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration 22 May 2017 SPECIAL NOTICE NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Radiation Safety Officer Contract VA250-17-Q-0635 The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA) requires: Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) duties for the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center (VAMC) 4646 John R. Street, Detroit, MI 48201. The Veterans Affairs Ann Arbor Health Care System intends to issue a sole source solicitation to Radiological Physics Service, INC., 3839 Napier Road, Plymouth, MI 48170, requesting all labor, material, and supervision to perform Medical Physicist Inspection Services to include an annual Radiographic evaluation of equipment and quarterly NRC Compliance Inspections of the Nuclear Medicine Department and additional Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) duties. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541990 and the Small Business Administration Size Standard is $15M. This notice of intent to is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirements may submit a quotation, which may be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that the responding company can meet the requirements of the Government. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
