- This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov. It is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitation to the internet. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this requirement is 332710; Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. This procurement is being processed as a 100% small business set-aside as concurred with by the NUWCDIVNPT Office for Small Business Programs. This is a synopsis for noncommercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures as supplemented with additional information listed in this notice. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the most current Federal Acquisition Circular. NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase eight (8) End Plates in accordance with drawing 1220D1176, and eight (8) Housing (9070B) in accordance with drawing 7345140 attached to this synopsis. F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport: Newport, RI. The required delivery date will be listed in the solicitation. Early delivery is acceptable. Offers must include shipping costs in quotes, if applicable. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) ( https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM ) to be eligible for award. Instructions for registration are available at the website. NOTE: Only companies that are JCP registered will be able to access the drawings/specifications. For information regarding JCP registration go to http://www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp/. The following addenda or additional terms and conditions apply: Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating is DO-C9. The anticipated posting date of solicitation N66604-17-Q-2380 is on or about 6 June 2017. The closing date for receipt of quotes will be established in the RFQ. The Government intends to award a single FFP purchase order to the eligible, responsible offeror whose offer represents the lowest price technically acceptable. This solicitation and any subsequent amendment will be posted to the FEDBIZOPPS website. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring this site for any amendments. In order to be determined technically acceptable: (1) the offeror must quote the items specified, in the required quantities; and (2) the Government will consider past performance information in accordance with DFARS Provision 252.213-7000 where negative information within PPIRS-SR may render a quote being deemed technically unacceptable.
