- Address: The units are located in the Crooked River Watershed near the community of Orogrande, which is a part of the South Fork Clearwater Basin. There is 3 different Mastication Thinning Techinacal Specification in 5 units consisting of approximately 125 acres. Mastication of understory and dominate trees to achieve a 10 to 20 foot canopy spacing will be completed on 33 acres. Mastication of trees less than 7 inches will be completed on 2 different units for 62 acres. Mastication to achieve Pre-Comercail Thinning will be completed on 2 different units for 29 acres. A full description of the vegetation size/type and the thinning prescriptions will be provided in the solicitation.
