- Description
- Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Lakehurst, New Jersey, has a requirement for a minimum of fifteen (15) each, and up to a maximum of fifty-one (51) each, 50 Ton AOG Jacks (NSN: 1730-01-588-8638) to support the P-8A aircraft. The 50 Ton AOG Jack is used to service aircraft wheels, tires, and brakes on the P-8A aircraft. This will support the aircraft maintenance operations for the United States Navy. Jacks must be self-contained with manual and air powered pumping capability. Jack shall not have a tow-bar. Hydraulic fluid must be in accordance with MIL-PRF-83282D (1)/QPL-83282. The jacks must also meet the following salient characteristics: Minimum Rated Capacity = 50 Tons Fully Retracted Height = minimum 5" Hydraulic Lift = minimum 9" Screw Extension = minimum 4" Fully Extended Height = minimum 22' Reservoir tank capacity = minimum 5.5 gallons Proof Loaded at 150% of rated capacity Safety Pop-off valve set at minimum 52 tons, maximum 55 tons Shall not exceed 40" in length This requirement will be solicited on a competitive basis as 100% small business set aside, with award being made to the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Offeror. For this solicitation, NAWCAD Lakehurst Contracts Department intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or make a bid on www.FedBid.com. Offerors that are not currently registered to use www.FedBid.com should proceed to www.FedBid.com to complete their free registration.
