- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District requires a contractor to furnish and deliver approximately 60,000 gallons of Off-Road Use (dyed) #2 Diesel Fuel to the USACE Dredge Goetz, at the Fountain City Service Base. Qty: approximately 60,000 gallons #2 Diesel Fuel, Dyed for Off-Road Use (Bio-Diesel and Bio-diesel blends are NOT acceptable) The entire delivery will be made on Friday, May 26, 2017. The fuel will be transferred to a floating barge capable of holding 70,000 gallons of fuel. Transfer will occur only between the hours of 07:00 - 15:30 on May 26, 2017. The fuel barge is owned and operated by USACE, and will be manned and controlled by two Government employees during transfer. The fuel transport trucks will be responsible for all transport truck activities and have the proper certifications to transfer fuel to a marine floating fuel barge. The fuel hose connections are a 3" cam-lock fitting. A 3" adapter fitting will be available if required.
