- Description
- The Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC), Space Command and Control Mission Systems Division (SMC/SYF) and the Air Force Research Laboratories, Space Vehicles Directorate (AFRL/RV) will be co-hosting an Industry Day on Tuesday, 6 June 2017. The Space Battle Management Command and Control (BMC2) Industry Day briefing will be conducted at: The Aerospace Corporation Bldg. A8, Michael Daugherty Meeting Center 2310 E. El Segundo Blvd El Segundo, CA 90245 This Industry Day meeting is not tied to a specific acquisition effort; therefore government funding is unavailable to support attendance at this event as it is designed as an informational meeting only. Interested participants must complete and submit the Industry Day Registration Form (Attachment 1) to smc.sy.BMC2TechMaturation@us.af.mil no later than 1200 PST, Friday, 19 May 2017. Registration is required and is limited to four (4) attendees per company/organization. Requests for a specific date/time for the one-on-one sessions may be made but are not guaranteed. One-on-one sessions will be limited to 30 minutes. No exceptions will be made for late registration or clearance requests. The intended audience includes commercial and defense industry, Federally Funded Research and Development Centers, University-Affiliated Research Centers, and other government parties interested in space control and future space superiority technologies to include Battle Management Command and Control; small business is encouraged to participate. Industry Day Check-in starts at 0730 on Tuesday, 6 June 2017. Depending on industry interest, one-on-one sessions also may be scheduled for Wednesday, 7 June 2017 and, if necessary, Thursday, 8 June. Each person attending Industry Day must provide one (1) form of photo identification (I.D.). Accepted forms of photo I.D. include a valid/current state-issued driver's license, government I.D., or U.S. passport. All attendees must be U.S. citizens and also have a current TS/SCI clearance. Companies owned by foreign entities must bring a current, approved National Interest Determination (NID) letter. The Visit Certification Form (Attachment 2) must be submitted by 1200 PST, Thursday, 25 May 2017 to both Capt Justin Tarr and Capt Brittany Bullard. One form per attendee must be filled out and signed by the contractor's security manager.
