- Description
- The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue a Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00024-15-G-5359 to L3 Technologies, Inc. for Depot Spares, retrofit, refurbishment and upgrade of major assemblies for the MK 46 Optical Sight Systems (OSS) and MK 20 Electro-Optical Sensor Systems (EOSS). The proposed Delivery Order is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302, and pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Parties interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact L3 Technologies, Inc. directly. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement no later than fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis. Any submissions will not be reimbursed by the Government -- the entire cost of any submission will be at the sole expense of the source submitting the information. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed delivery order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
