- Description
- The Internal Revenue Service intends to issue a solicitation entitled US Department of Treasury Managed Print Services (MPS). This is an unrestricted acquisition, NAICS code is 334118; The purpose of this acquisition is to move the Treasury Department and all its Bureaus to a predominantly network-based printing service that will benefit the Treasury through lower energy, equipment, supply, and vendor-related service costs. The intent of the Government is to purchase a service with a guaranteed outcome and not to lease, rent or purchase hardware, software, consumables, or supplies. The selected vendor will be required to provide services to Treasury Bureaus and components nationwide. The anticipated contract type is a Firm Fixed Price, IDIQ for Services only. The estimated period of performance for this requirement includes a twelve month (12) base period and four (4) one year options, and the opportunity to earn two (2) one year award terms commencing September 25, 2017 through September 24, 2018. Source selection will be based on the vendor representing the best value to the Government, cost and other factors considered. The estimated date of solicitation release is on or about June 8, 2017. Printed copies of the solicitation document will not be provided by the issuing office. All responsible sources may submit an offer. This is not a Request for Proposals (RFP) and is not a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Further, the U.S. Government is not seeking quotes, bids or proposals at this time and will not accept or pay for information materials or unsolicited proposals in response to this notice. Telephone inquiries will NOT be accepted. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Government-wide Point of Entry. It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor the Government-wide Point of Entry for additional information pertaining to this requirement.
