- EXCEPT AS MODIFIED OR AMPLIFIED IN RFP, THIS ITEM CONTAINS CLASS "C" EXPLOSIVES. DFAR CLAUSE 252.223-7002, SAFETY PRECAUTIONS FOR AMMUNITION AND EXPLOSIVES (MAY 1994) APPLIES. THIS ACQUISITION CONTAINS EXPLOSIVE NAVAL ORDNANCE ITEMS, WHICH REQUIRE SPECIAL SECURITY, SAFETY AND TRANSPORTATION CLAUSES. THE CLAUSES MAY BE FOUND IN SECTION "I". SOLE SOURCE CODE N742.14 NOTE: PAPER COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE PROVIDED BY THE NAVY. THIS PROCUREMENT IS RESTRICTED TO QUALIFIED SOURCES. THIS ITEM IS PROPRIETARY TO CARLETON TECHNOLOGIES, INC. THE GOVERNMENT TDP IS NOT COMPLETE AND IS ONLY THE TOP DRAWING. THIS ITEM IS AN EXPLOSIVE DEVICE. NSN: 6135-01-341-5141, AWAA, 12 VOLT BATTERY ASSEMBLY; QUANTITY: 1,068 EA USED IN THE BQM-74E CHUKAR. FIRST ARTICLE TESTING, PRODUCTION LOT TESTING, CONTRACT DATA REQUIREMENT LIST, AND FOB ORIGIN APPLY. THERE IS NO DRAWING PACKAGE AVAILABLE FOR THIS ITEM.
