Description
Solicitation W9124B-17-R-0018 Fort Irwin MICC hereby issues a solicitation for Repair of Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) at building 990 on Fort Irwin, CA 92310. This solicitation will close on June 23, 2017 at 0800 AM PST. It is issued as a 100% small business set aside, and will result in a single firm-fixed price (FFP) contract. The NAICS code is 335999 and the size standard is 500 employees. The See attached Solicitation W9124B-17-R-0018 Pre-solicitation and sources sought for this action was issued under W9124-17-R-1518 This project will require electrical work involving large batteries, capacitors, transformers, IGBTS, associated materials, and safety mechanisms. The general scope of the project is for the repair of a Liebert AP600 750KVA, 480 Volt AC in/out, system. This will involve the removal and disposal of existing batteries. Refurbishment of existing UPS system shall include transfer the UPS system to External Maintenance Bypass, de-energize the UPS system, remove the defective inductors and refurbish them transport them, remove and replace Defective Capacitors, remove and replace defective fans, remove and replace defective insulated-gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) modules, testing the system, and field report of all work. The performance period for completion is 120 days from notice to proceed. An organized site visit has been scheduled for June 6, 2017 at 0900 AM PST. Participants will meet 30 mins prior at: Mission and Installation Contracting Command, MICC-Irwin Langford Lake Road & South Loop, Bldg 505 Fort Irwin, CA 92310 Proposals received in response to this RFP will be evaluated in accordance with procedures outlined in FAR 15.305, and evaluation factors are PRICE and PAST PERFORMANCE. At this time, the government intends to award without discussions IAW FAR 15.306. In accordance with FAR 36.204 and DFARS 236.204, the estimated magnitude of this construction project is between $250,000 and $500,000.
