- This is a Sources Sought Synopsis for market research purposes only and is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). No solicitation is being issued or requested at this time and this notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. There will not be reimbursement for any cost associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. The United States Air Force Academy, CO seeks potential sources for a proposed government acquisition to provide and install a high image quality and high reliability CCTV system intended to cover select areas of USAFA, and to integrate legacy CCTV system equipment into a consolidated package. The system includes approximately 1,700 cameras as well as ancillary equipment. The CCTV system will provide camera monitoring, video recording, video storage, and video playback for the purposes of personnel safety and security. The 100% CCTV system design is based on project meetings, field verification of existing conditions, discussion with security authorities and building management teams during field observation, and available as-built information.
