Description
The United States Air Force through the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) at the Oklahoma City Logistics Center (OC-ALC) is contemplating procuring metallic aircraft seals, for the F100-229 Air Craft Engine. This is a Critical Safety Item. The Line Item cited below is for a non-commercial, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Fixed Quantity Contract. First Article requirements may apply. This requirement is anticipated to be sole source. 1.Estimated Solicitation Issue Date & Estimated Closing/Response Date: 07 June 2017, Closes 07 July 2017 2.RFQ#: FA8121-17-Q-0017 3.PR#: FD2030-17-01304 4.Nomenclature/Noun: Seal, Metallic, Aircraft 5.INPUT NSN: PN: 2840-01-620-7419NZ 4089009-01 6.AMC: 2/C 7.Application(Engine or Air Craft): Spare, F100-229 Air Craft Engine 8.History: First time Acquisition. 9.Description: F100-229 Metallic Aircraft Seal is 12.4"L x 12.4"W x 4.8"H and weighs 5.3 lbs. L/I 0001- Seal, Metallic, Aircraft Quantity: 16 Ea. 10.Destination: SW3211 11.Delivery: 4 units each starting 22 January 2018 12.Current Approved Sources: United Technologies Corporation Cage Code: 52661 13.Export Control: Yes 14.Qualification Requirements: Government physically does not have in its possession sufficient, accurate or legible data to purchase this part from other than current source(s). 15.Mandatory Language: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition.
