- USACE Nashville District intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) solicitation for this requirement. This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice. This Notice is being issued for planning and informational purposes only. This notice is not a solicitation, nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for any effort expended in responding to this notice, nor will the Government accept proposals as a result of this Notice. The plans and technical specifications for this requirement will only be available upon solicitation issuance. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Nashville District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) intends to issue a request for quote (RFQ), W912P5-17-T-0050, for the dry docking and repairs of the "NP-83" Pride of the Cumberland at Halcomb's Landing located in Jamestown, Kentucky. The Performance Work Statement and Drawings will be included in the solicitation announcement, W912P5-17-T-0050. This description is not intended to be all encompassing and is subject to change. The Performance Work Statement and specifications will be included with the solicitation announcement. The solicitation is expected to be released on or around June 1, 2017. The intended period of performance is fourteen (14) to thirty (30) days after contract award. NAICS CODE AND SBA SIZE STANDARD: 336611 and 1,000 employees TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: Total Small Business Owned Set-Aside ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Specific information pertaining to this procurement will be available in the solicitation. The solicitation documents will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website, www.fbo.gov. It is, and will continue to be, the responsibility of all potential offerors to monitor the FBO website for any amendments, updates, responses to industry questions/comments, etc. The Government will not be maintaining a mailing list. The project location has special security requirements that will be identified in the solicitation. There will be one organized site visit. No other site visit will be permitted. The solicitation will contain detailed instructions pertaining to registering to attend the site visit. Registration to attend the site visit will be required and there will be a deadline to submit registration information.
