- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ on behalf of the US Coast Guard intends to negotiate a firm fixed price single award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, on a sole source basis, with Rockwell Collins (Cage: 13499), 400 Collins Road NE, Cedar Rapids, IA, 52498. The procurement requirement is to order up to nineteen (19) High Frequency (HF) radio communication packages which will be comprised of the following: PART NUMBER NOMENCLATURE NSN QTY 822-1069-002 HF-9087D Receiver/ Transmitter 5821-01-537-2451 19 622-8114-002 HF-9041 Coupler, Antenna 5 985-01-423-9218 19 Also included in these procurements will be associate system components, cabling, racks, connectors, controller units, software, mounting hardware, engineering technical services (i.e. integration, installation & fielding), and logistics support (i.e. reliability & maintainability data, user & maintenance manuals, publication source data) for use within the USCG HC-27J fleet. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements". Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses to this notice must include the company name, point of contact, address, area code and telephone number, telecopy (fax) number, electronic mail (e-mail) address and company literature sufficient to determine the capability of this company to perform this effort. No phone inquiries will be entertained.
