MARKET SURVEY ANNOUNCEMENT 1. Introduction/Purpose The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Academy AMA-260 has a requirement for HondaJet HA-420 Initial Pilot Flight Training. The FAA is seeking interested sources that are capable of providing the required training. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. 2. Incumbent Contractor There is no incumbent Contractor. This is a new requirement. 3. Nature of Competition State that the acquisition strategy for the procurement has not been determined at this time; however, either an unrestricted competition or a set-aside will be chosen depending on the responses to the market survey 4. Disclaimer State that “ (a)This is not a Screening Information Request or Request for Proposals of any kind; (b)The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals; (c)The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey; and (d)Any costs associated with the market survey submittal is solely at the interested vendor ™s expense 5. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code The NAICS code projected for the procurement is 611512 “ Flight Training “ Applicable size standard of $27.5 Million dollars. 6. Submittal Requirements for Market Survey Please provide any relevant experience with providing DC-3 Flight training technical approach corporate capabilities Size and type of training provided by previous contracts (provide detailed information and past performance) Geographical areas where your company can provide training. Number of years in business any questions or comments on the requirement Limit any submittal to this Market Survey to a maximum of 20 pages collectively. 7. Delivery of Submittals Submittals and questions to this Market Survey shall be e-mailed to the Contract Specialist, Alan Spaulding at alan.spaulding@faa.gov no later than 04:30 PM CST 06/02/2017. NO PHYSICAL COPIES OR PHONE CALLS. ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE IN WRITING AND EMAILED TO THE CONTRACTING SPECIALIST 8. SAM Registration An active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) must be obtained to be considered for government contracts with the FAA. 9.
