Description

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The VA National Acquisition Center intends to issue Request for Proposal (RFP) VA797E-17-R-0035 for an unrestricted procurement for IV Solutions and Administration Sets for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Federal Health Care Center (FHCC) and Indian Health Service (IHS). See attached products and estimated annual usage. The contract items will be ordered by the facility through the VA s Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor Programs and the contractor shall deliver directly to the facility. The VA PPV will invoice for products shipped, and the facility makes payment directly to the VA PPV. Therefore the contractor must establish a pass through program with the VA PPV. Emergency Pharmacy Service will order the contracted products directly from the contractor. Solicitation #  VA797E-17-R-0035 will be electronically issued in commercial item format in accordance with FAR Part 12 on or about May 29, 2017, with a tentative closing date  of June 06, 2017. Please note: Only those proposals that meet the following technical criterial will be evaluated and considered for award: 1) NDC or UPN must be unique to the manufacturer, 2) Products must be FDA approved, 3) Manufacturing facility must have an acceptable current Good Manufacturing Practices rating by FDA and 4) Offeror must meet the estimated annual requirements as listed in the attached schedule of supplies. The NAICS code for this procurement is  325412. Any future amendments and other miscellaneous documents will be available electronically for download at the following URL: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation will be available, and no telephone requests for paper copies of the solicitation will be accepted. Interested offerors are advised to continuously check this URL for any changes to this solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer that if timely received, will be considered.
