- This is a Sources Sought synopsis. This is not a solicitation. The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to identify other qualified sources prior to the release of any potential solicitation for the purchase the following items: (1) KSV-5B Rechargeable Main Battery, NSN: 6140-01-579-4602CS, P/N: 694-402604-1, Quantity: 12 each (2) KSV-5B I/O Circuit Card, NSN: 5998-01-628-6231CA, P/N: 771-0083961-1, Quantity: 10 each The KSV-5B Receiver is used to provide secure communication. Predominate Material of Manufacture: Electronic hardware components Detailed technical data and drawings for the purchase of these items are not available from the Government. The current source for these items is L-3 Technologies, Inc. Telemetry and RF Products, CAGE: 9U244 Any interested source that can meet this requirement is invited to submit a written qualification package and must receive approval from the National Security Agency (NSA) to produce these items. Such approval must be received prior to contract award. The written qualification package must include the following information: 1) contractor name and phone number, 2) a brief statement detailing capabilities to produce such items, 3) a list of names and phone numbers of references to whom you have produced these items for, and 4) type of business. Interested sources are requested to submit a package by close of business on 1 Jun 2017, no later than 4:00 p.m. local time. All data received in response to this announcement marked or designated as corporate or proprietary information will be fully protected from release outside the Government. Availability of any formal solicitation will be announced separately. The Sources Sought announcement is requested for informational purposes only. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this synopsis and submittals will not be returned to the sender.
