- This is a Sources Sought synopsis. This is not a solicitation. The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to identify other qualified sources prior to the release of any potential solicitation for the purchase the following item: Special Cable Assembly, NSN: 5995-01-496-3703CS, P/N: FL51242-5, Quantity: 251 each Predominate Material of Manufacture: 2 standard fill connectors and a 6 wire cable Detailed technical data and drawings for the manufacture of this item are not available from the Government. The current source for this item is Custom Cable Solutions, Inc., CAGE: 1B5X6 Any interested source that can meet this requirement is invited to submit a written qualification package and must receive approval from the National Security Agency (NSA) to produce this item. Such approval must be received prior to contract award. The written qualification package must include the following information: 1) contractor name and phone number, 2) a brief statement detailing capabilities to produce such item, 3) a list of names and phone numbers of references to whom you have produced this item for, and 4) type of business. Interested sources are requested to submit a package by close of business on 1 Jun 2017, no later than 4:00 p.m. local time. All data received in response to this announcement marked or designated as corporate or proprietary information will be fully protected from release outside the Government. Availability of any formal solicitation will be announced separately. The Sources Sought announcement is requested for informational purposes only. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this synopsis and submittals will not be returned to the sender.
