- This project is set-aside for: Total Small Business The NAICS code for this project is 238910. The small business size standard is no greater than $15 million in average annual receipts. Only offers from firms that are certified to meet both small business status and the size standard will be considered. You may contact your local U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) office (federal, not state office) for more information on the small business program. Your local SBA office's contact information may be found by accessing the SBA website (www.sba.gov). The Government's estimate is between $100,000 and $250,000. There are 3 locations with buildings of various sizes to be demolished on the Eldorado National Forest. This will be a commercial services contract in accordance with the Service Contract Act. Project sites are: 1. Blue Lakes Cabin: The demolition of the Blue Lakes Cabin & Outhouse, located on the Eldorado National Forest. The three structures consist of approximately 800 square feet. The work covered under this section includes: (1) demolition of the structures and site improvements; (2) abatement of hazardous materials/hazardous building components found in the structures; (3) recycling and salvaging of building materials that can be recycled and salvaged; (4) disposal of all other materials generated during site activities covered in this Statement of Work; (5) compacting, backfilling, re-contouring, final grading and landscaping of excavated areas. This work will also include, but is the limited to the following: removal of fencing and concrete walkways, cutting and capping of existing utilities, protecting other utilities in-place and protecting facilities adjacent to the site. LOCATION-From Pioneer, CA, travel north-east on US Hwy 88 for approximately 62 miles. The Blue Lakes Cabin is located on the south side of Lower Blue Lake. Latitude: 38°36'29.17", Longitude: -119°55'29.87". 2.Hell Hole Fire Station: This project is for the demolition of the Hell Hole Fire Station with Garage, Generator House and Burn House, located on the Eldorado National Forest. The three structures consist of approximately 3682 square foot of combining space. The work covered under this section includes: (1) demolition of the structures and site improvements; (2) abatement of hazardous materials/hazardous building components found in the structures; (3) recycling and salvaging of building materials that can be recycled and salvaged; (4) disposal of all other materials generated during site activities covered in this Statement of Work; (5) compacting, backfilling, re-contouring, final grading and landscaping of excavated areas. This work will also include, but is the limited to the following: removal of fencing and concrete walkways, cutting and capping of existing utilities, protecting other utilities in-place and protecting facilities adjacent to the site. LOCATION- From Auburn, CA, travel northeast on Mosquito Ridge Road for approximately 60 miles. The Hell Hole Fire Station is located at the intersection of Hell Hole Road and Chipmunk Ridge Road. Latitude: 39°04'15.08", Longitude: -120°25'09.61" 3. Ortiz Cabin-This project is for the demolition of the Ortiz Cabin and Shed located on the Eldorado National Forest and consist of approximately 900 square feet. The work covered under this section includes: (1) demolition of the structures and site improvements; (2) abatement of hazardous materials/hazardous building components found in the structures; (3) recycling and salvaging of building materials that can be recycled and salvaged; (4) disposal of all other materials generated during site activities covered in this Statement of Work; (5) compacting, backfilling, re-contouring, final grading and landscaping of excavated areas. This work will also include, but is the limited to the following: removal of fencing and concrete walkways, cutting and capping of existing utilities, protecting other utilities in-place and protecting facilities adjacent to the site. LOCATION-From Georgetown, CA, travel north-west on Wentworth-Springs Road for approximately 4 miles. The Ortiz Cabin and Shed is located on the east side of W-S Road down on short driveway. Latitude: 38°55'34.79", Longitude: -120°47'00.87". The request for quotes will be uploaded when ready, approximately May 31, 2017. The date of award is expected to be within 30 days after the actual response date, which will be stated in the package and possibly changed in one or more amendments. Please hold any technical questions until after review of the solicitation. The technical contact information will be listed in the solicitation. The purpose of this notice is to meet the FAR 5.201 It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor the Federal Business Opportunities website for amendments.
