See solicitation for Pre-Proposal Meeting. Lake Isabel Work Center Rehabilitation The San Isabel National Forest has a requirement for Lake Isabel Work Center (WC) Rehabilitation project. The project consists of replacement of the existing potable water distribution systems, relocation of the non-potable system service, inspection of septic tanks, replacement of select septic systems including leach fields, electrical system repairs for the barracks, replacement of the propane service line, and maintenance to the exterior of the barracks and shop building at the Lake Isabel Work Center. The Pre-bid meeting will be held at the Lake Isabel Work Center. Solicitation will have Pre-bid meeting date and time. Price Range is between $250,000 and $500,000. Location: This project is located in the San Carlos Ranger District of the San Isabel National Forest. All work is located within Pueblo County at the intersection of St. Park Rd (241) & CO 165. Directions: From Pueblo, CO, head southwest on I-25 S. Take Exit 74 for CO-165 W towards Colorado City/Rye. Turn right on CO-165 W; continue on CO-165 for approximately 27 miles. The work center will be on the right hand side of the road, ¼ mile before the Lake Isabel Dam. Time for Performance: 120 calendar days. Estimated start date is 1 July 2017, however, specifications restrict work at the barracks and to the water system so that it cannot start before 15 July 2017. This solicitation is a total small business set aside. The NAICS code is 237310 with a size standard of $36.5M. All solicitation documents will be posted to this website approximately 27 April 2017. Proposals are estimated to be due 30 days after issue of solicitation (actual due date will be listed in the solicitation). Interested offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package, changes in the date of the site visit and any other pertinent information including downloading their own copy of the solicitation package and amendments. Offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM). For those who fail to meet these requirements will not be considered for award. All questions pertaining to this solicitation must contain reference to the solicitation number and must be submitted, in writing via e-mail to both the technical representative dlira@fs.fed.us and the Contracting Officer Toinette Aranda at tparanda@fs.fed.us This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for bid/proposal preparation costs.
