- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT announcement. This notice is for market research purposes only and IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). The Government is performing market research in order to determine if small businesses possess the capability to execute the requirements within this acquisition. Respondents need to indicate all small business designations. Based upon small business responses received, consideration will be given to defining what part of the acquisition, if any; will be set-aside for small business competition. PROJECT INFORMATION: Contractor shall furnish all tools, material, labor, equipment, supervision, and transportation necessary to provide quarterly inspections, maintenance, and repairs as needed on Harbor Security Boat head systems. Inspections shall consist of a visual inspection and operation of all components of the head system to include head pump, pump switch, breaker switch, holding tank, deodorant reservoir, bowl, bowl lid, seacock valves, sea strainer, and all hoses and hose hardware. Contractor shall make repairs as needed to include replace head pump, install head pump rebuild kit, replace pump switch, replace bowl, replace breaker switch, replace Vacuum breaker kit, replace associated hoses and hose hardware, replace toilet seat, and replace waste collection tank. The contract term will be a base period with a potential of four one-year option periods. The NAICS code is 336611, Ship Building and Repairing. Interested contractors are to submit the following information: company name, address, point of contact, telephone number, e-mail address; DUNS, and information regarding your company ™s experience in performing boat inspections and maintenance as the prime contractor in the last five years identifying: contracting agency, contract number, title, place of performance, years of performance, and value of contract per year.
