- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE FOR FA2517-17-Q-6037 1. 21 ST Contracting Squadron (21 CONS) intends to award a Sole Source award to Altec Industries, Inc., the sole source provider for a truck repair of the Altec AM900 Articulating Non-Overcenter Aerial Device. The procurement is for: -Replace Rotation Bearing and Hardware -Replace Rotation Gearbox -Replace Leveling Cables -Perform Dielectric Test Post Repairs -Perform Structural Load Test After Repairs -Perform Operational Test After Repairs -Supplies & Environmental Disposal -All Associated Freight Charges -All Delivery and Labor Associated The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 811310 - Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance, with a size standard of $7.5 million. Produce Service Code (PSC) is J025 - Maintenance and Repair of Vehicular Equipment Components. 2. This purchase will be made under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR 13.501 (a) Sole Source acquisitions. 3. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. 4. Vendors who feel that they can provide the above requirement may submit documentation with proof they can provide the required services. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. 5. The intent of this notice is for informational purposes only. 6. No award will be made on the basis of quotes or offers received in response to this sole source notice of intent. 7.
