- These are the minimum standards to be met. SF 1449. Please read in its entirety. (1) The Following are Salient Characteristics that must be met to be considered for award: - The tabletop retinal scanner shall have full color image capability and additionally have both Red and Green lasers/filters which can be viewed separately. - The tabletop retinal scanner shall allow for capturing a minimum of 150 out of 360 degrees of the retina in a single scan. The retinal scanner must be able to complete the scans for both eyes and include the entry of patient's identification data within 90 seconds. - The tabletop retinal scanner shall have non-mydriatic capability, which allows retinal images through pupils as small as 2 mm in diameter, even through cataracts. - The tabletop retinal scanner must have Auto fluorescence capabilities. - The tabletop retinal scanner must have a max footprint size of 2.5ft x 2.5ft or smaller.
