- SYNOPSIS: St. Jude Medical Pacemaker Implant System This synopsis is issued in accordance with FAR 5.101(a)(1) and FAR 5.207. This proposed action is for the procurement of St. Jude Pacemaker implant systems. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This proposed procurement will be a sole source award under North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 339113: Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing. Business size standard for NAICS 339113 is 750 employees. PSC code: 6515 - Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment and Supplies. Delivery Schedule: 12 May 2017 Delivery Destination: Medical Materiel Bldg 830 Area A 4881 Sugar Maple Dr. Wright Patterson AFB, OH 45433 Requirement: One (1) CD3357-40Q - Unify Assura MP_ICD_U_PR The proposed source is St. Jude Medical S.C., Inc., 15900 Valley View Ct, Sylmar, CA 91342. This procurement will not be competed because the aforementioned St. Jude Medical Pacemaker Implant System is what the surgeon is currently trained on. The Government will award a contract to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Technical Capability and Price will be used to evaluate all offers. The Department of Defense (DoD) has determined the System for Award Management (SAM) to be the single point of DoD registration for contractors who conduct business or who are interested in conducting business with the government.
