- Specifications of items being researched Request for Information Request for Information (RFI) Only: This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute as a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a promise to issue an RFQ in the future. This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the Government is not at this time seeking quotes and will not accept unsolicited quotes. The RFI respondees are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will solely be at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFQ, if any is issued. No RFQ exists; therefore, please do not request a copy of the RFQ. All submissions become Government property and will not be returned. The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) is issuing this RFI for market research purposes, specifically, to determine if a requirement for the lease of eight 36 passenger diesel buses and three 15 passenger diesel vans can be set-aside for small business or other socioeconomic programs. Additional information on the items requested are identified on Attachment 0001 - Specifications.
