- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items for commercial items using the procedures outlined in both FAR 12.6, Acquisition of Commercial Items and 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on NECO and FEDBIZOPPS (http://www.fbp.gov/). The RFQ number is N0018917QQ066. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-95 and DFARS Change Notice 20161222. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: http://farsite.hill.af.mil/vffara.htm. The NAICS Code is 334118. This is a competitive, unrestricted action. NAVSUP FLC-Norfolk, Mechanicsburg Contracting Office requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing Brand Name Trotec Speedy 100A 40 watt CO2 Flatbed Laser System and associated customized configuration and required hardware. The ship to destinations is:Hangar 301, 47042 Tate Road, Patuxent River, MD 20670-1612. A brand name justification is provided as a RFQ Attachment. Only Trotec authorized resellers may participate in this acquisition and therefore only those quote submissions will be evaluated and considered for award. Authorized reseller letters confirming valid proof of certification/authorization shall be provided with quote submission and/or before award. Refer to the RFQ FAR Clause 52.212-2 for evaluation criteria. Quotes shall be valid for 30 days. The Brand Name Trotec Speedy 100A 40 watt CO2 Flatbed Laser System and associated customized configuration and required hardware must be in new, unused condition. Refurbished hardware is not acceptable. RFQ N0018917QQ066 includes the descriptions, part numbers and quantities. Please use this attachment as your quote submission. The contract resulting from this RFQ will be a Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order. This requirement will be negotiated and award will be made on the basis of Low Price Technical Acceptability.
