- This Source Sought Notice is seeking qualified manufacturing sources capable of providing the Government, on a long term basis, a Front Actuating Ring, NSN 5340-01-130-2754, per General Electric Part Number (PN): 6026T58G03. This Sources Sought Notice will be followed by a FEDBIZOPPS Pre-Solicitation Notice for this item and then by a Request For Proposal (RFP) under Solicitation SPE5EC17R0006. Solicitation SPE5EC17R0006 will result in for a Long Term Contract (LTC) with an approximate annual demand of 140 each. The Front Actuating Ring, PN: 6026T58G03, consists of a Segment Ring, PN: 6026T58P01, a Segment Ring PN: 6026T58P03, a Yoke PN: 6026T58P06 and a Clevis PN: 6026T58P05. The Front Actuating Ring connects to the inlet guide vanes (rows of blades) and used to control the guide vanes of the F-404-GE-400 engine. General Electric (GE) is the Design Control Source and their drawings are not available from the Government. This Source Sought Notice is issued as a means to obtain competitive sourcing for its requirements and is part of Government's market research process. The Government is in no way obligated to purchase any information or material submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought Notice. If you are interested in becoming a qualified source of supply for this item Front Actuating Ring you are required to submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package.
