The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Northwest Mountain region is conducting a market survey/request for information to improve the Government's understanding of the current marketplace and to identify capable sources. Responses to this market survey will be used to determine if there is adequate competition to set the requirement aside for Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Businesses (SEDB 8(a)'s), small businesses, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB's), etc. This survey is being conducted in accordance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Section 3.2.1.2.1. This survey will support market research obtained from multiple sources and will be utilized for planning purposes only. No contract of any kind will result from this announcement. The purpose of this market survey is to seek competent and qualified contractors to perform all work associated with the replacement of the existing Head Bolt Heater system and the upgrade to the facility power feeds to the lighting system outside. A summary of the work is as follows: Head bolt heater system work: Work will be conducted inside the facility, installing new conductors and conduits to feed the new panel boards. Outside new underground conduits will fee the new pedestals for the Head Bolt outlets (HBO's). The existing system will be demolished and will require patching and paint. Upgrade to the facility power feeds work: Installation of new conduit and conductors to feed the existing and new fixtures. The NAICS code for this project is 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, which has a small business size standard of $36.5 Million.
