Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOT A SOLICITATION. The United States Military Academy at West Point is looking for business who can meet the following requirement for inspection, maintenance and repair of a Shimadzu liquid chromatograph/spectrometer. If your company can meet all the requirements please submit a capability statement by Wednesday 5/31/2017 - 10am est. to Bob Pizzano - robert.pizzano@usma.edu Your company must be a Shimadzu approved service dealer. This is to detail the scope of work for an agreement to provide service for the liquid chromatograph/mass spectrometer. The service can be divided into two components: preventative maintenance and unscheduled maintenance. Period of Performance: One year beginning 27 September 2017 Technician: Technician performing service will be factory trained/certified. USMA will not supply tools. Parts: All parts will be factory certified. No third party parts will be accepted. Preventative Maintenance: At least one preventative maintenance visit will be provided and will be scheduled at the mutual convenience of USMA and the contractor, or performed during any other service visit. The following will be addressed: • Lubrication of Stage lead screws • Clean and rebuild Lens Assembly • Cleaning of Delay Plate • Rough Pump oil change • Activated Aluminum replacement • Silica Gel exchange • Inline filter replacement • Camera Lamp replacement • Replace 10Meg resistor if warranted • Cooling fan inspection, lower unit • Cooling fan inspection, Transient Recorder • Cleaning and duct removal • Tuning and calibration • Performance evaluation with standard sample • Inspect pumps; record hours • Provide service report Unscheduled Maintenance: Depending on severity of problem, contractor will • Provide necessary replacement parts with installation instructions and/or phone support • Provide on-site repair service • Repair the product at contractor's Service Center • Parts, Labor and Travel Included Unlimited phone support will also be provided for USMA personnel.
