Description
Clauses & Provisions Amendment 0001- This amendment is being issued for the following: 1. To extend the closing date of the solicitation from 12 June 2017 to 22 June 2017. 2. To incorporate Federal Acquisition Regulation Clause 52.237-1 "Site Visit" within the Clauses & Provisions Attachment 3. 3. To provide information regarding a site visit. Please see details below. SITE VISIT A site visit will be conducted by the Contracting Officer at the US Army Yuma Proving Ground, on 07 June 2017 at 09:00 AM MST, Building 2100. Each company is restricted to 2 attendees. Advise LaTasha Isaac, the Contract Specialist, at email Latasha.a.isaac.civ@mail.mil or FAX number 928-328-6534 if you plan to attend the site visit. Failure to visit the job site will not disqualify an offer; however, the offeror acts at his own risk and will not be relieved from complying with the terms and conditions of any resultant contract by reason of such failure. In no event will a failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after award of the contract. In order to be allowed entrance onto US Army Yuma Proving Ground, offerors will need to adhere to the following: Visitors without a valid CAC card who needs to access Yuma Proving Ground cantonment areas (Howard, Walker, Kofa) will be issued an Individual Day Pass by the Visitor Control Center. The visitor center is located on Imperial Dam Road behind the tank display Monday through Thursday from 6am to 4pm. Visitors will need to present a valid driver's license or passport along with the rental agreement or proof of insurance and valid registration of the vehicle they are driving. If their driver's license are issued from Minnesota, Missouri, or Washington and it is not the Enhanced version, we require an additional form of identification (valid passport, Resident Alian card, tribal card) because of the REAL ID Act. A backaground check will be processed on each individual. Photographs are not permitted. There will be no cameras or cell phones with cameras allowed during the site visit. Offerors should review The Economic Espionage Act of 1996 (http://www.law.uconn.edu/homes/swilf/ip/statutes/espionage.htm) and the Uniform Trade Secrets Act (http://www.law.upenn.edu/bll/archives/ulc/fnact99/1980s/utsa85.htm) prior to attending the site visit. Questions and answers raised during the site visit will be publicized through an amendment to the solicitation to be issued no later than 5 working days after the visit. Offerors must submit any final questions within 2 working days of the visit. Offerors are requested to review Solicitation W9124R-17-T-0024 and submit only written questions to LaTasha Isaac at email latasha.a.isaac.civ@mail.mil or FAX 928-328-6534 by 4:00 PM MST on Thursday, 12 June 2017. Driving Directions to Yuma Proving Ground from Yuma International Airport Proceed straight from parking lot onto Pacific Ave. Turn RIGHT onto 16th St./US-95. Proceed approx 20 miles. Turn LEFT at the big guns onto Laguna Dam Rd. Proceed 1 1/2 mile. Turn right at the main gate. Once through the gate, proceed straight on Ocotillo Rd to Barranca Road. Turn left on Barranca Rd Proceed to the ‘Y' intersection at the airfield and turn right, towards the airfield Building 3000 (Operations Building) will be on the right side. Driving Directions to Yuma Proving Ground from Phoenix Begin on I-10 W towards LOS ANGELES. Merge onto AZ-85 S via EXIT 112 toward I-8 / YUMA / SAN DIEGO. Stay STRAIGHT to go onto W PIMA ST / I-8 BL. Merge onto I-8 W toward SAN DIEGO. Take the FORTUNA RD exit. Take the ramp toward US-95. Turn RIGHT onto US-95. Proceed approx. 14 miles. Turn LEFT at the big guns onto Laguna Dam Rd. Proceed 1 1/2 mile. Turn right at the main gate. Once through the gate, proceed straight on Ocotillo Rd to Barranca Road. Turn left on Barranca Rd Proceed to the ‘Y' intersection at the airfield and turn right, towards the airfield Building 3000 (Operations Building) will be on the right side. Driving Directions to Yuma Proving Ground from San Diego Start off on I-8 E (Crossing into ARIZONA). Take the 16TH ST / US-95 exit- EXIT 2- toward SAN LUIS. Turn LEFT onto US-95 E / E 16TH ST. Continue to follow US-95 E approx. 21 miles. Turn LEFT at the big guns onto Laguna Dam Rd. Proceed 1 1/2 mile. Turn right at the main gate. Once through the gate, proceed straight on Ocotillo Rd to Barranca Road. Turn left on Barranca Rd Proceed to the ‘Y' intersection at the airfield and turn right, towards the airfield Building 3000 (Operations Building) will be on the right side.
