- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded contract N00421-17-D-0031 to American Systems Corporation of Chantilly, Virginia 20151, for on-going and specialized Engineering and Technical Systems Support to the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) in Patuxent River, Maryland. This effort was competed as a full and open competition which resulted in the placement of a Single Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a five (5) year ordering period. The contract will consist of cost-plus-fixed-fee (CPFF) and cost reimbursement (non-fee bearing) line items and No t Separately Priced (NSP) CLINs for Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs). This IDIQ contract vehicle will permit specific task orders to be issued that will reflect CLINs by funding type, based on the general tasking outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW). Performance will take place in the CONUS only. American Systems Corporation will be tasked to support current and future piloted and desktop engineering simulation capabilities, aircraft trainer devices, and Department of Defense (DoD) manned aircraft and Unmanned Air Vehicles (UAVs) in-service and acquisition programs. These efforts pertain to flight vehicle models and simulations, flight control systems, engine control systems, collision avoidance systems, flight test data analysis, and related engineering support.
