- Description
- The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Technology Application Contracting Office (TAKO) intends to procure a Life Cycle Contractor Support (LCCS) for sustainment and production of the United States Army Lithium Ion Batteries. Engineering services will be necessary in the event new battery types or modifications to existing batteries are required. If engineering services are required, prototype and/or Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) batteries may be purchased. The intended Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) award will result in a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) /Firm Fixed Price (FPP) contract. The associated NAICS code is 541330 and small business standard is $4.5M. The intended contract action is for services and supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The government does not possess and cannot furnish the technical data required to develop engineering descriptions, technical data packages, or specification necessary to permit full and open competition. All interested, capable, and responsible sources that would like to respond to this sources sought are encouraged to provide a statement of interest with supporting substantiation/capabilities input to Ms. Stacey Kirkland, Contract Specialist, via email to stacey.n.kirkland.civ@mail.mil no later than 9:30 pm EDT on 08 June 2017. Questions may be forwarded by email to this address. Once sources sought requirement has closed, the government will contact individual responders for any further information required.
