- Description
- The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC), 166 Water Street, Woods Hole, Massachusetts is soliciting quotes for Grounds Keeping/Landscaping Services. Provide all plant, labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to perform the following (but not limited to): Mowing and Trimming Operations; Edging; Shrubs and Hedge Maintenance; Debris Removal and Grounds Clean Up; Weed Control; Pesticides; Bed Maintenance; and Spring and Fall Cleanup in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement. Period of Performance: Base year plus four (4) option years. The proposed award is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code is 561730 with a size standard of $7.5M. The solicitation will issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95, effective January 13, 2017. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract to the contractor whose offer represents the best value considering past performance and price. RFQ will be available on or about May 23, 2016, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13 via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website http://www.fbo.gov. The solicitation number is E133F-17-RQ-0453; Hard copies of the RFQ will not be issued. It is incumbent upon the contractors to monitor the FedBizOpps site for the solicitation release and all subsequent amendments. The anticipated award date will be on June 14, 2017. This acquisition will be awarded as a firm fixed price order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13 (Commercial Acquisition)). All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. For information on how to register your company on FBO, to view or receive updates and notifications to the solicitation, please reference the FBO Vendor Guide located on the FBO web site home page. NO paper copies of the solicitation will be furnished. A solicitation mailing list will not be maintained for this procurement. Inquiries will only be addressed by email.
