- This project is set-aside for Total Small Businesses. The NAICS code for this project is 115310. The small business size standard is no greater than $19 Million in average annual receipts. Only offers from firms that are certified to meet both Small Business status and the size standard will be considered. You may contact your local U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) office (federal, not state office) for more information on the Small Business program. Your local SBA office's contact information may be found by accessing the SBA website (www.sba.gov). The Government intends to award up to 10 IDIQ contracts for Hand Thinning Fuels Reduction and Vegetation Management located on 6 national forests in Central California. The types of work will include all activities to maintain a healthy forest environment activities involved, but not limited to, pre-commercial and commercial tree thinning, brush cutting, hand piling trees and slash, and chipping activities. The task orders against these contracts will be competed amongst the IDIQ contract awardees over the life of the contracts. The Maximum allowed to be ordered against all contracts is a total of $6.5 million, the expected IDIQ term is 1 year base contract, with 4 optional years not to exceed 5 years. LOCATION: Central CA- Plumas National Forest, Tahoe National Forest, Inyo National Forest, Eldorado National Forest, Stanislaus National Forest, and the Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit. The solicitation package will be uploaded when ready, approximately May 31, 2017. The date of award is expected to be within 60 days after the actual response date, which will be stated in the package and possibly changed in one or more amendments.
