Description
This posting replaces the original posting for solicitation number N68936-17-R-0023 posted 23 February 2017. Any further changes to this posting will be found under this solitication number: N68936-17-T-0120. This requirement is for 200 each Freewave Technologies Part Number MM2-9X5W-CC, SET0906AA radio frequency (RF) transceivers with conformal coating, 902-928MHz with 5 Watt RF output, Transistor-Transistor Logic (TTL) Interface, Spread Spectrum and Frequency Hopping data transmission, and point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, and Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) communication modes. The transceivers must have a minimum 90 mile range. Maximum size is 2 inches by 2 inches by 1 inch. Weight range is 25 grams to 50 grams. Grey items made for sale outside the United States will not be accepted. No substitutions will be accepted. Only new parts will be accepted; refurbished parts will not be accepted. The RF Transceivers are used in multiple Seaborne Targets which must operate on any Navy Range using the existing remote control system. The Naval Air Warefare Center Weapons Division intends to award a sole source based contract to Freewave Technologies, Inc. in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source that possesses the unique capability and expertise that can satisfy the requirement. As the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the MM2-9X5W-CC RF transceiver, Freewave Technologies does not distribute this hardware to any of its distributors. The MM2-9X5W-CC RF transceiver is available only through Freewave Technologies. Contractors must be certified through Defense Logistics Information Services (DLIS) in order to access Controlled Unclassified Information within FBO.
