- Upper Greenbrier North Herbicide Injection. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as an RFQ. The documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95. This procurement is set aside for Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 115310 and the Small Business Size Standard is $7.5 Million. Description of Requirement: Upper Greenbrier North Herbicide Injection - Hand application of herbicide to stems of black birch, striped maples, Fraser magnolia, red maple, and American beech in accordance with the specifications (attached) and wage determination (attached). The areas to be treated are within the boundaries of the Monongahela National Forest, Greenbrier Ranger District, in Pocahontas County, West Virginia. (See attached maps). Units range in size from 22 acres to 40 acres. Contractor shall have from June 1, 2017 through October 1, 2018 to complete the work. A pre-quote meeting will be held at the Greenbrier Ranger Station on May 12, 2017 at 10 AM ET. Greenbrier Ranger Station, US Rt 250 South, Bartow, WV 24920. This registration is free of charge. The due date for responses has been extended.
