- Description
- The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, Norfolk, Contracting Department, Norfolk VA, 23511-3392 intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract to provide a wireless microphone sound system for the United States Navy Band, Washington, DC. The procurement is being conducted as a commercial item acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12, using Subpart 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334310 Audio and Video Equipment Manufacturing with a size standard of 750 employees. Delivery is required no later than 180 days after award. A complete Request for Quotation (RFQ) package will be available for downloading at the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) Website: https://www.neco.navy.mil on or about 25 May 2017. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the quote. By submission of a quote, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220, or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. DO NOT use the Submit Bid button on NECO to submit your quotation for the upcoming solicitation.
