- This is a sole source synopsis and published for informational purposes only. The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Special Operations Forces, Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics, (SOF-AT&L), Directorate of Procurement intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Cylitix, LLC, in Philadelphia, PA. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the Government requirements for continued development of the software architecture as Cylitix, LLC, is the sole developer of the Vulcan Technology Domain Awareness platform. USSOCOM intends to issue a contract to Cylitix, LLC, for software development and workflow enhancements. The estimated award date is scheduled for June 2017. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or an exception to the Government's intent to purchase on a sole source basis, which shall be considered by the Government if received within fifteen (15) days of this notice. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government is not responsible for any cost incurred for submissions in response to this notice.
